About the Role
This position involves providing occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist, using remote platforms to assess, plan, and implement interventions for clients across various settings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions via telehealth platforms
- Assist in evaluating client functional abilities and needs
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by supervising therapists
- Document client progress and session notes accurately and on time
- Communicate with supervising occupational therapists on client status
- Support clients in achieving goals related to daily living skills
- Use virtual tools to guide therapeutic exercises and activities
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews remotely
- Provide feedback on client engagement and response to therapy
- Adapt therapy techniques for remote delivery
- Coordinate with caregivers and family members as needed
- Ensure equipment and materials are accessible for virtual sessions
- Follow clinical protocols and safety guidelines
- Stay current with telehealth best practices in occupational therapy
