About the Role
Deliver occupational therapy services remotely to clients, using Spanish and English to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs that promote functional independence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate clients' motor, sensory, and cognitive abilities
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans based on client needs
- Provide therapy sessions via secure video platforms
- Collaborate with caregivers and interdisciplinary teams to support client goals
- Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately
- Use Spanish and English to communicate effectively with clients and families
- Monitor client development and adjust interventions as needed
- Educate families on therapeutic techniques and home program implementation
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for telehealth
- Maintain timely and confidential client records
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
- Support transition planning for clients across care settings
- Promote client independence in daily living activities
- Apply evidence-based practices in virtual therapy delivery
- Respond to client and family inquiries promptly and professionally
