Responsibilities
- Oversee the establishment, initiation, and continuous operation of motor vehicle accident and workplace injury rehabilitation programs
- Handle documentation including OCF-18s, OCF-3 coordination, OCF-21 billing, Form 1 submissions, and all required HCAI filings
- Deliver in-clinic and community-based occupational therapy evaluations and interventions
- Perform functional, cognitive, ergonomic, and return-to-work capacity assessments
- Liaise with insurance companies, claims adjusters, legal teams, and case management professionals
- Develop internal systems, referral networks, and standardized documentation tools
- Educate and train clinical staff on MVA and WSIB-related processes and protocols
- Support program expansion and ongoing enhancement of service quality
Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of direct experience in motor vehicle accident or workplace injury rehabilitation
- Solid understanding of Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule, HCAI requirements, OCF forms, and insurer correspondence
- Proven background in functional capacity evaluations, cognitive rehabilitation, and return-to-work planning
- Capacity to independently initiate and manage new program development
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration abilities across disciplines
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution or equivalent

- Proficiency with digital tools and experience using multiple electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Teams
