Why Join Metro Physical Therapy: - 1099 and W-2 options to fit your preferred work style - Competitive salary - Flexible scheduling- create your own visit times and see patients any 7 days of the week - Opportunities for professional growth - Ability to build meaningful relationships with patients - Work in home and community-based settings - Supportive and collaborative team environment - Focus on Patient Care - Quick EMR (No Oasis required) - Great work/life balance - Preference given to see patients in your primary geographic area Responsibilities: - Accept and treat patients within your designated geographic area - Provide 1:1 treatment - Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs - Deliver care that aligns with professional standards, agency policies, and the prescribed plan of care - Educate family members, home health aides, and other caregivers on proper therapy techniques - Plan, and carry out occupational therapy programs to maintain, improve or restore physical function, relieve pain, and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients. - Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention. - Provide timely and accurate documentation for each visit - Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit - Must be willing to treat geriatric patients.
