Responsibilities
- Perform detailed assessments of daily living skills to determine functional capacity and support requirements in home or community environments.
- Coordinate with employers, case managers, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to share clinical progress and align on rehabilitation objectives.
- Suggest appropriate assistive devices, home adaptations, or support services based on evaluation outcomes.
- Identify and engage with suitable equipment suppliers and service vendors, including participating in equipment trials when necessary.
- Produce thorough, well-structured reports that detail assessment findings, proposed interventions, and clinical justification.
- Instruct clients and their families in techniques for adapting tasks, managing energy, and performing activities safely.
- Keep precise and up-to-date clinical documentation while following professional, legal, and ethical guidelines.
- Support quality improvement initiatives, attend team meetings, and engage in ongoing professional learning.
