Responsibilities
- Evaluate clients' daily living skills in home or community settings to support independence through detailed assessments.
- Collaborate with employers, healthcare providers, insurers, and case managers to share clinical progress and align on recovery objectives.
- Suggest assistive devices, home adaptations, or support services based on assessment outcomes.
- Identify appropriate equipment suppliers and attend trials when necessary to ensure proper fit and function.
- Produce clear, well-reasoned reports summarizing evaluations, recommendations, and clinical justifications in a timely manner.
- Teach clients and their families techniques for energy management, adaptive task completion, and safe daily functioning.
- Keep thorough, accurate clinical documentation while following professional, legal, and ethical guidelines.
