Responsibilities
- Perform detailed evaluations of clients' abilities in daily living activities to determine support requirements and foster independence at home or in the community.
- Coordinate with employers, case managers, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives to share clinical progress and align on rehabilitation objectives.
- Suggest appropriate assistive devices, home adaptations, or support services based on assessment outcomes.
- Source suitable equipment and service providers, including participating in equipment trials when necessary.
- Produce accurate and timely reports detailing assessment findings, recommendations, and clinical justifications.
- Instruct clients and their families in adaptive techniques, energy-saving methods, and safe performance of daily tasks.
- Keep thorough and confidential clinical documentation while following professional, legal, and ethical guidelines.
- Support quality improvement initiatives, attend team meetings, and engage in ongoing professional learning.
