Responsibilities
- Deliver immediate medical assistance on location according to nursing standards and established procedures.
- Act quickly to address employee health concerns and workplace medical incidents.
- Conduct required health evaluations including drug and alcohol testing, lung function assessments, and hearing tests.
- Keep precise health documentation to meet OSHA and state regulatory requirements.
- Uphold strict confidentiality in handling all employee health information.
- Collaborate on safety programs and ergonomic improvements to reduce workplace strain.
- Contribute to employee wellness efforts and deliver health education sessions.
- Support the administration and recordkeeping of workers’ compensation claims.
- Take on other duties as assigned to assist the occupational health and safety team.
