Responsibilities
- Assists course faculty in teaching and demonstrating nursing clinical skills, health assessments, and professional nursing duties for pre-licensure students in a hands-on learning setting.
- Supports student growth in delivering safe, quality nursing care by offering feedback that reinforces learning and helps identify individual learning needs.
- Engages in ongoing quality improvement efforts with course faculty and the Assistant Director of Nursing Simulation Education to suggest and identify ways to improve the student learning experience, effectiveness, and educational outcomes.
- Helps maintain an efficient learning environment by using resources respectfully, optimizing their use, managing inventory, and collaborating on planning for optimal student learning.
- Provides course faculty with feedback on student performance to support formative and summative evaluations.
