About the Role

Medtronic is seeking a Nordic Sales Manager for Structural Heart to define, implement, and drive the strategic direction and sales objectives for the Structural Heart business across the Nordic region. This leadership role ensures maximum profitable sales and market share while working closely with key healthcare decision-makers and leading a field-based team.

What You'll Do

  • Defining the SH revenue and expense strategy as well as pricing schemes for the Nordic in line with the regional Profit and Loss (P&L) strategy
  • Developing the yearly SH Business Plan, setting challenging targets and be hands-on and close to the SH team and customers in the field
  • Analysing market size, competitive market landscape and other information from all sources
  • Driving the SH sales in the Nordic and developing strategies to improve sales, decrease cost levels and increase market shares for all SH product lines
  • Building strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers and those influential in the purchasing process to enhance the Medtronic Brand and Image
  • Identifying, attracting and growing human talent to build a strong, engaged, performance driven team
  • Attending all required national and regional meetings

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Engineering, Life-science, Marketing, Business Management or Biology or another relevant, advanced degree or equivalent
  • Strategic thinker with a successful track record in sales and a data driven approach with change management capabilities
  • Advanced people management skills, strong leader and motivator with the ability to coach the team based on experience
  • Thorough knowledge of the healthcare industry with previous experience from medical device or pharma where sales execution is a key for success
  • Thorough knowledge of the decision-making process with customers (economic buyer, reimbursement) in the Nordic
  • Fluent in any Scandinavian language and English

Work Mode

Local-country role with presence required across the Nordic region, including up to 50% travel within the region.
