The Business Development Manager – EV Charging at Nexthire will drive partnerships, site acquisition, and revenue growth for EV charging infrastructure across commercial, residential, fleet, and public locations in HSR Layout, Bangalore. The role involves leading end-to-end business development cycles and working closely with internal teams to deploy and scale charging solutions.
What You'll Do
- Identify and onboard locations for EV charging stations (malls, offices, societies, fleets, highways).
- Build partnerships with OEMs, fleet operators, real estate developers, and government bodies.
- Lead end-to-end BD cycle: lead generation, commercial negotiations, contracts, and closures.
- Develop business models (revenue share, lease, CAPEX/OPEX).
- Work with internal teams on feasibility, deployment, and go-live timelines.
- Track market trends, competitors, and policy updates in EV charging space.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue and expansion targets.
What We're Looking For
- 5–8 years in Business Development (EV, Infra, Energy, Telecom, or Mobility preferred).
- Strong experience in partnerships, enterprise sales, and contract negotiations.
- Understanding of EV charging ecosystem, tariffs, and regulations (DISCOMs a plus).
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
Nice to Have
- Experience with DC fast chargers / fleet charging / public charging networks.
- Existing network in real estate, fleet, or EV ecosystem.
- MBA or equivalent qualification
