Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, test, and monitor network security systems while following industry standards for security, disaster recovery, business continuity, change control, and user support
- Support the development of resilient and scalable network architectures
- Serve as the main technical contact and lead engineer for security implementations, offering continuous maintenance and support
- Proactively assess organizational needs and contribute to designing solutions that align with business objectives
- Execute engineering tasks for data security networks, including design, deployment, and issue resolution on a project basis
- Deliver evaluation, architectural planning, and deployment for secure data networking environments
- Create detailed graphical and written design documentation and oversee implementation from concept through final acceptance
- Support internal teams with capacity planning, ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and evaluation of secure communication networks
- Lead or support migration efforts from legacy to modern network security platforms, demonstrating end-to-end defense-in-depth strategies
- Assist network teams in diagnosing and resolving critical network security issues or responding to active threats
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enforce configuration standards, change management protocols, and secure operating procedures
- Lead, schedule, and coordinate team activities to ensure timely and accurate resolution of end-user issues
- Produce regular status updates detailing project advancement, achieved milestones, and completed tasks
- Conduct recurring status meetings with team members or as required to track progress and address challenges
