Responsibilities
- Support networking personnel in overseeing routers and switches across the organization.
- Handle patching, testing, and rollout of updates for workstations and servers using Absolute Manage.
- Oversee setup and deployment of an enterprise-wide asset management system.
- Act as lead for incident response, coordinating actions during network-related incidents.
- Configure and maintain virtual private network (VPN) systems.
- Provide assistance to networking staff with desktop-level technical support.
- Collaborate with external contractors on disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
- Set clear project milestones and deliver results on schedule under strict deadlines.
- Apply analytical reasoning to diagnose and resolve technical challenges.
- Attend project meetings covering data center operations, hosting services, and product assessments.
- Follow established organizational policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

- Assist MHBE networking staff to manage and maintain routers and switches.

- Manage the configuration and implementation of an MHBE-wide asset management tool.
- Serve as MHBE Incident Response Lead; coordinate responses to network incidents.
- Configure and manage VPN installation and maintenance.
- Assist MHBE networking staff with desktop support.
- Work with MHBE contractors by participating in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity support.
- Independently and effectively set milestones and meet deadlines to accomplish assigned tasks under tight timeframes with little room for error.
- Solve problems through critical and analytical thinking.
- Participate in meetings regarding projects, hosting and data center services, product evaluations, and other activities.
- Adhere to all MHBE’s standard processes, procedures, and guidelines.
