Responsibilities
- Design and manage scalable network infrastructures that support essential operations and training platforms.
- Administer core networking technologies such as routing protocols, switching, firewalls, DNS, virtual private networks, VLANs, and associated services.
- Operate and support both physical and virtual network environments to ensure consistent availability, performance, and security.
- Continuously monitor network performance, diagnose connectivity problems, and apply solutions to sustain operational effectiveness.
- Establish and enforce network policies, standards, procedures, and comprehensive documentation for enterprise-wide use.
- Deliver engineering and administrative support for campus-scale networks and interconnected technology ecosystems.
- Work with cybersecurity, systems, and engineering teams to implement secure network architectures aligned with organizational standards.
- Support modernization projects, integration of new technologies, and improvements to existing network capabilities.
- Conduct capacity planning, configuration control, and end-to-end lifecycle management for network hardware and software components.
- Offer expert technical guidance and assistance to stakeholders to maintain dependable network services across operational and training settings.
