Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable, high-performance network solutions that align with strategic business objectives.
- Direct the planning and implementation of network modernization, system migrations, and infrastructure growth.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network failures using in-depth analysis and root cause methodologies.
- Enhance network efficiency and capacity through continuous monitoring and performance tuning.
- Establish and maintain network governance, including security policies and operational procedures.
- Oversee the acquisition, deployment, and retirement of network systems and software components.
- Engage with key stakeholders to evaluate future network needs and plan accordingly.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network topologies, configurations, and processes.
- Provide technical leadership and development opportunities for less experienced engineering staff.
- Ensure adherence to federal cybersecurity frameworks including FISMA, NIST, and related mandates.
