Rackspace is seeking a Network Engineer II / III to join our Private Cloud Delivery team. This role is central to building and maintaining the robust network infrastructure that supports our enterprise private cloud solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and support network solutions for private cloud infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues to ensure high availability
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver network services aligned with client requirements
- Document network configurations, topologies, and operational procedures
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical environments
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a network engineering role, ideally within a cloud or managed services environment
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies
- Hands-on experience with network hardware from vendors like Cisco and Juniper
- Ability to analyze requirements and design secure, scalable network architectures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting
