Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise-level LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking systems.
- Create and sustain network design standards, topology diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Assess and propose networking technologies, hardware, and software platforms.
- Lead initiatives for network modernization, upgrades, and system migrations.
- Deliver advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex network incidents and outages.
- Conduct root cause investigations and apply fixes to prevent recurring network problems.
- Ensure consistent network performance, uptime, and reliability through proactive monitoring.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical network events as needed.
- Deploy and manage security mechanisms such as firewalls, VPNs, NAC, network segmentation, and secure remote access.
- Work with cybersecurity teams to detect, assess, and resolve security vulnerabilities.
- Support compliance audits, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements.
- Enforce network security policies and industry best practices.
- Design and maintain connectivity solutions for cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, GCP, and OCI.
- Integrate network services with core enterprise infrastructure components.
- Support hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures.
- Apply automation and infrastructure-as-code methods where applicable.
- Lead technical execution of network projects from planning to deployment.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior team members and share expertise.
- Develop detailed project plans, implementation workflows, and testing methodologies.
