Responsibilities
- Create and deploy network architectures for global enterprise environments, covering LAN, WAN, wireless, and security systems
- Build scalable network designs using advanced routing and Equal-Cost Multi-Path techniques to balance traffic and ensure redundancy
- Plan and implement enterprise-level load balancing with strategies like round-robin, least connections, and weighted distribution to enhance application performance
- Define and maintain firewall policies, routing instances, and segmentation on Juniper SRX platforms to uphold security standards
- Design and roll out enterprise WiFi networks, including RF planning, site assessments, and WLAN structure
- Lead network projects from initiation to completion, including requirements, design, deployment, testing, and transition to operations
- Define and monitor project milestones and deliverables within a strict change management framework
- Set up and configure networking and security hardware for new office locations worldwide
- Manage vendor selection processes and maintain relationships for technology acquisition and implementation
- Travel internationally as required to support infrastructure rollouts and critical project deployments
- Work with teams across Service Desk, Workplace Experience, Security, Engineering, Development, and Project Management to meet project goals
- Deploy and refine network monitoring with Elasticsearch to track SNMP telemetry, device health, interface usage, and performance trends
- Use SIEM tools to collect Syslog data, correlate events, and generate security alerts to strengthen threat detection
- Generate reports on network performance, availability, logs, operational metrics, and identified threats
- Perform compliance reviews and verify network configurations adhere to security policies and internal standards
- Lead incident post-mortem analyses and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence
- Develop automation solutions to minimize manual tasks, improve reliability, and speed up project execution
- Promote and support infrastructure-as-code and network automation practices within the team
- Identify and execute improvements in operational workflows, configuration standardization, and network design
- Maintain and contribute to technical documentation, design references, and internal knowledge resources
- Act as a technical expert and escalation contact for resolving complex wired and wireless network issues
- Assist with daily operational support, diagnosing connectivity and performance problems with the infrastructure team
- Carry out regular maintenance, system patching, and network upgrades as part of ongoing operations
