The Network Advanced Services Engineer will serve as a trusted technical authority for Arista's strategic customers in the Pacific Northwest, focusing on post-sales success through robust network design, deployment, and operational optimization. This role blends deep technical engineering with strategic pre-sales support, ensuring seamless migrations and sustained customer success on Arista’s EOS®-based infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the lead technical expert for the design, deployment, and operationalization of Arista solutions in large-scale Data Center, Campus, and WAN environments for large Cloud customers in the Pacific Northwest region.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, resilient, and secure network architectures.
- Create and review comprehensive network designs, providing best-practice recommendations to customers during on-site and remote working sessions.
- Lead complex migration and interconnection projects from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba to the Arista EOS®-based infrastructure.
- Develop and implement network automation workflows using Python, Ansible, and other DevOps frameworks to streamline configurations and operations.
- Act as a technical advocate for the customer, providing an expert interface to Arista TAC and internal development for bug scrubs, code recommendations, and feature requests.
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders, becoming their trusted technical advisor.
- Partner with the Sales Engineering team by providing deep technical expertise during the evaluation and proof-of-concept (POC) stages.
- Lead in-depth, hands-on testing to validate complex design scenarios and customer success criteria.
- Attend and present at key customer and partner events; deliver ongoing technical training to customer engineering teams.
- Maintain deep listening skills, customer empathy, humility, and competence to build trust and drive successful outcomes.
