Responsibilities
- Handle escalated complex network incidents from Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support, resolving issues beyond their capability.
- Lead network upgrade and refresh projects from planning through implementation and cutover.
- Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, wireless, and site-to-site connectivity.
- Manage firewall policies, NAT, segmentation, and secure remote-access solutions across client environments.
- Assess network performance, availability, and resiliency, proactively identifying risks before they impact clients.
- Support client migrations, office moves, and infrastructure changes involving network redesign or reconfiguration.
- Document network topology, configurations, standards, and operating procedures for each client environment.
- Collaborate with support and security teams on incident response, remediation, and network hardening initiatives.
- Recommend improvements to network design, redundancy, monitoring, and security across the client base.
- Work directly with clients to scope, communicate, and deliver network projects from discovery to completion.
- Mentor support staff on networking fundamentals and serve as a technical escalation resource for infrastructure issues.
