Devsu is hiring a .NET Umbraco Developer to lead the assessment, upgrade, and optimization of an enterprise-level content management system. You will be responsible for planning and executing the migration from the current Umbraco v8+ environment to the latest stable version, delivering a secure and high-performance CMS post-migration.
What You'll Do
- Assess the current Umbraco environment and define a detailed migration strategy.
- Lead the upgrade from Umbraco v8+ to the latest stable version.
- Refactor or rebuild templates, views, and custom components in Razor and C#.
- Ensure integration points (APIs, services, databases) remain fully functional post-upgrade.
- Perform thorough testing to validate functionality, performance, and stability.
- Implement CMS performance optimization and security best practices.
- Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to align with project goals.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience working with Umbraco CMS (v8 or higher).
- Proficiency in .NET/C#, Razor views, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of MVC architecture and component-based development.
- Experience with SQL Server and relational database modeling.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Ability to independently plan and execute technical projects.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or automated deployments.
- Exposure to headless CMS setups or hybrid content architectures.
- Understanding of SEO and web performance best practices in CMS environments.
- Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools for CMS performance.
