SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union is hiring a .NET Lead (API) Developer to provide high-level technical leadership on complex software projects. In this role, you will act as a project leader and senior technical resource, coordinating teams using modern development methodologies like SCRUM/Agile.
What You'll Do
- Provide high-level technical input and guidance to developers, project teams, and business units on complex aspects of project definition, applications design, implementation, integration, and support.
- Lead program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation with full technical knowledge of all phases of applications programming.
- Provide technical guidance to a team of programmers in designing, developing, testing, and implementing projects, making independent decisions on design, development, timeline, and implementation.
- Work with your manager to prioritize service requests, assign work, provide technical assistance, and manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Act as project leader for projects with small budgets or limited duration.
- Perform software development support for major applications and integrations, design architecture additions, and evaluate existing applications for performance and automation opportunities.
- Research and recommend new vendor and third-party solutions based on business requirements and design integrations with vendor systems.
- Research industry trends and propose new technologies to support existing needs.
- Coordinate and develop technical project estimations for small to medium-scale projects involving one or more developers.
- Act as a senior technical resource over multiple projects, providing guidance on design, deliverables, and integrations of software components.
- Work independently with business units to design technical solutions and automations.
- Participate in efforts to share technology expertise and train and mentor others in the use of technologies and development processes.
- Provide management with accurate and timely status reports of all assigned projects.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent years of experience.
- 7-10 years of related professional experience.
- High knowledge of: .NET Core, Web Services, Visual Studio, JavaScript, HTML 5.0, SQL Server/TSQL, Agile Methodology/SCRUM, Java, and XML.
- Medium knowledge of: Oracle/PL-SQL, Episys/Repgen/PowerOn, and Portlet Development.
- Demonstrated ability to use fact-finding and diagnostic tools, implement optimal solutions, and follow problem management procedures.
- Proven track record of displaying technical expertise and applications knowledge, following a logical process for problem identification and resolution.
- Ability to write clear, readable code, resolve bugs and other problems, and adhere to organizational coding standards and practices.
- Experience completing work according to identified priorities, executing test scenarios, and interpreting and communicating test results.
- In-depth knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, Finance/Credit Union processes.

- Salary Range: $127,961.00 - $211,136.00
