Responsibilities
- Design, configure, validate, monitor, and resolve issues with electronic control systems, including PLC logic, HMI interfaces, electrical drives, relay logic, and motor controls.
- Collaborate across departments and engineering specialties to develop industrial processes, motor controls, instrumentation, and power systems aligned with operational needs.
- Program, diagnose, and configure Allen Bradley (Rockwell) PLC and HMI control platforms.
- Define control strategies for process areas and provide training and guidance to technicians and managers on equipment, procedures, and standards.
- Apply control system expertise to resolve process or design challenges.
- Coordinate with contractors on project execution, including installation and commissioning of electronic controls and electrical maintenance activities.
- Demonstrate practical understanding of scale controller configuration and calibration.
- Possess functional knowledge of all standard voltage levels used in industrial settings.
- Capable of installing, configuring, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing control systems and line voltage equipment.
- Utilize manufacturer technical support resources to resolve complex system issues.
- Interpret and apply electrical schematics for troubleshooting and equipment installation.
- Reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Responsible for electrical safety, facility lighting, and maintaining organized storage of electrical materials.
- Support other maintenance department functions as required.
- Assist refrigeration and maintenance staff with mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repairs as needed or directed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Part of the Maintenance department with regular cross-functional collaboration across departments and engineering disciplines; reports to Maintenance Supervisor

- Must be available to work non-traditional hours in response to facility demands, particularly during commissioning and system uploads.
- May be required to work extended shifts, including weekends.
- Occasional lifting and movement of up to 75 pounds may be necessary.
- Required to work 12-hour shifts as needed.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands for fine manipulation, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and communicate verbally.
- Work environment includes both office and industrial plant settings with exposure to wet or humid conditions, extreme cold, and moving machinery.
- Noise levels vary from moderate to loud, especially in production zones.
