Responsibilities

Engage appropriately with key thought leaders and healthcare professionals.
Exchange scientific information with external parties in an accurate, fair, and balanced manner.
Report field intelligence to the company, including competitive information, perspectives on compounds, disease states, and the treatment landscape.
Support clinical development and operations teams through site recommendations, site initiation visits, facilitation of communication, and accrual support activities.
Participate in or lead advisory board meetings at local, regional, and national levels.
Provide internal and external training on preclinical science, clinical data, and outcomes.
Represent the company at medical conferences by engaging healthcare professionals and providing scientific coverage.
Provide cross-functional support across the organization as a scientific resource within guidelines.
Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of pertinent studies, compounds, and diseases to facilitate collegiate and scientific discussions with leading rheumatology and nephrology thought leaders.
Consistently demonstrate high standards of excellence in managing the assigned territory while supporting colleagues and the overall MSL organization.
Demonstrate flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Spend an estimated 65-70% or more of time away from the remote office to support territory needs.
Serve as the primary field point of contact for the company's Medical Affairs - Rheumatology.

Compensation

The base salary for an MSL is $165,000 - $190,000 annually, and for a Senior MSL is $180,000 - $215,000 annually. Each offer is determined by factors including experience, qualifications, and location. This role is also eligible for short-term and long-term bonuses.

Work Arrangement

Remote position with up to 65-70% travel required. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
