Responsibilities
- Advance ongoing discussions to secure confirmed financial commitments and close existing funding shortfalls
- Drive the transformation of funding pledges into fully signed agreements in coordination with Revenue, Operations, Legal, and Finance teams
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of funding commitments, from initial agreement to contract execution and payment scheduling
- Ensure all funding contracts are transparent, legally compliant, and consistent with organizational governance and public interest objectives
- Maintain precise tracking of funding pipelines, pledged amounts, and conversion progress to support forecasting and reporting
- Manage relationships with a diverse portfolio of contributors from both public and private sectors, including government bodies, regulators, and corporations
- Cultivate trusted, long-term relationships with funders through consistent communication and engagement, aligned with Revenue and ISSB leadership
- Balance stakeholder expectations around recognition and visibility while preserving organizational independence and neutrality
- Support senior leaders in interactions with key contributors by preparing briefings and managing follow-up actions
- Collaborate with Revenue and Finance to align funding commitments with revenue recognition and cash flow planning
- Identify and mitigate risks related to payment timing, conditional funding, and potential shortfalls through proactive measures
- Provide accurate and timely reporting on Transition Fund performance to executive leadership
- Work with central organizational functions to ensure efficient and compliant operations of the Montreal office
- Supervise daily office activities, ensuring adherence to local and international laws and internal policies
- Manage landlord relations concerning building security, health and safety, and facility modifications or notifications
- Oversee contracts for office services and maintenance, including cleaning, equipment, and supplies
- Coordinate with the London-based IT team for technology support and infrastructure management
- Review, update, and report on health and safety policies to comply with local legal requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors to the office
- Handle incoming mail and maintain an organized office filing system
- Manage the office budget, approve expenditures within authorized limits, and oversee petty cash operations
- Ensure all financial transactions and documentation are properly authorized and routed
- Coordinate with local accounting and tax professionals as needed
- Collaborate with technical and operational leaders across functions
- Provide personal and professional support to staff based in the office

- This is a fixed-term, full-time position established to cover parental leave
