Gather AI is looking for a Mobile Engineer to own mobile-side investigation, support, and systems reliability for our MHEV (Material Handling Equipment Vision) product. This is a high-trust, high-responsibility role with a clear growth path into senior or platform engineering. What You'll Do
- Own mobile-side investigation and resolution for customer-reported issues, tracing problems across mobile apps, backend services, and infrastructure.
- Support live MHEV production systems with rapid issue resolution and proactive reliability improvements.
- Improve debugging tools, logs, documentation, and runbooks to reduce mean time to resolution across the team.
- Support legacy app maintenance and the transition to current-generation apps.
- Collaborate with backend and platform engineers to identify and address root causes at the system level.
- Build domain expertise in MHEV system behavior to serve as a reliable resource for support and engineering teams.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in mobile engineering, including investigation and support of customer-facing mobile applications.
- Ability to trace and resolve complex issues across mobile apps, backend services, and infrastructure.
- Experience improving debugging tools, logs, documentation, and runbooks for team efficiency.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional engineering and support teams.
- Initiative to build deep domain expertise and serve as a reliable technical resource.
Team & Environment
