Responsibilities
- Engage directly with consumers at locations where they experience, purchase, or consume products
- Build consumer trust by delivering informative brand experiences
- Guide consumers through product sampling activities for featured offerings
- Complete required digital training sessions regularly to maintain current product knowledge
- Travel to various on-premise and off-premise venues as needed
- Use digital platforms efficiently to receive assignments and report activity
- Arrive at events punctually, dressed according to team guidelines, and ready to execute planned activities
- Distribute branded merchandise to consumers as part of promotional efforts
- Adhere to responsible service standards and report any policy violations
- Prepare retail locations with branded point-of-sale materials before events
- Cover product or bar-related expenses using a company-issued payment method
- Receive promotional supplies from the event logistics team
- Maintain and return company assets such as uniforms, equipment, and event materials
- Submit a detailed post-event summary within two days of event completion
- Capture, edit, and submit high-quality photos from events
- Identify key differences between the represented brand and competing products, and report competitive activity
- Present a professional appearance suitable for direct consumer interaction
- Comply with all organizational policies and operational procedures
Compensation
On-site hourly wage ranges from $30 to $40+ per hour; paid bi-weekly via W2
Work Arrangement
Remote – Cleveland and surrounding areas including Cleveland Heights, Willoughby, Mentor, Painesville, Euclid, Solon, Beachwood, Chagrin Falls, Parma, Lakewood, Shaker Heights, North Olmsted, and nearby regions

- Position is classified as occasional employment, often described as gig work
- Typical event duration ranges from 2 to 4 hours
- Event availability varies weekly, with most occurring Thursdays through Sundays between 3pm and 12am
- Ideal candidates are available starting at 3pm on weekdays and 11am on weekends
- Must be comfortable driving to events within a one-hour radius of downtown Cleveland
- Events located over 30 miles or 30 minutes away include mileage and drive time reimbursement
- Employees are paid bi-weekly as W2 workers
- On-the-job training and local team support are provided
- Applicants must be eligible to obtain an Ohio Solicitors Permit
- Required to sign all necessary employment and compliance forms
- Must follow all state and local regulations related to alcohol sampling
- Expected to comply with all program policies and Diageo marketing standards
- Hiring does not guarantee a set number of future assignments
