The Archdiocese of St. Louis seeks a dedicated and faith-filled Middle School Teacher for Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School. The ideal candidate is committed to academic excellence, student formation, and the mission of Catholic education. This role involves teaching middle school students in a Christ-centered environment that fosters intellectual, spiritual, and moral growth.
What You'll Do
- Plan and implement engaging, standards-based lessons for middle school students.
- Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily instruction and classroom interactions.
- Create a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the academic and developmental needs of diverse learners.
- Assess student learning and provide timely feedback to students and families.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, administration, and support staff.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Participate in school liturgies, meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Support the overall mission and philosophy of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid Missouri teaching certification, or the ability to obtain one.
- Must respect and support the mission of the Catholic Church.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have
- Practicing Catholic.
- Previous middle school teaching experience.
