Responsibilities
- Develop and adapt lesson plans throughout the academic year as needed
- Adjust teaching methods to support varied student learning needs
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress
- Apply teaching strategies grounded in educational research
- Maintain appropriate student conduct within the classroom
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere
- Use curricula that acknowledge students' diverse cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Support consistent school-wide behavioral and cultural standards
- Engage with families to discuss student academic and emotional development
- Integrate digital tools into instruction to enhance student learning
- Assist in organizing and running non-instructional school activities when necessary
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by school leadership
