JatApp is hiring a Middle Data Engineer to build effective analytical solutions in close collaboration with product teams, analysts, and developers. You will be pivotal in our data-first culture, where every decision is driven by data.
What You'll Do
- Develop and optimize large-scale ETL processes to collect data from diverse sources and work with various databases
- Design, implement, and optimize Data Lakes and analytical databases to ensure fast data access
- Monitor and implement modern data engineering solutions to enhance process efficiency
- Collaborate with product developers and data analysts to create high-quality analytical solutions
- Document implemented databases and processes
- Conduct code reviews for requests from data engineers and data analysts
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in AWS Cloud with hands-on experience using Athena, S3, Glue, EC2, and Kinesis services
- Strong SQL and Python skills, including the ability to write complex queries and use Pandas for data processing
- Experience working with various data formats (JSON, Parquet, CSV)
- Familiarity with Airflow and Docker for automation and containerization
- Intermediate (B1) English proficiency
