Responsibilities
- Process and manage data streams using Node.js within a microservices architecture
- Design and maintain systems for retrieving, processing, and evaluating video content
- Support video delivery workflows utilizing HLS, adaptive bitrate streaming, FFmpeg, and common video codecs
- Create and manage APIs for video distribution, metadata management, and integration with backend services
- Implement event-driven systems to enable real-time or low-latency video processing
- Partner with development, quality assurance, and operations teams to enhance streaming performance and stability
- Diagnose technical problems, recommend solutions, and assist in building scalable backend infrastructure
- Optimize system performance across networking, storage, and computational layers
