About the Role
This position seeks a mid-level QA tester with foundational programming knowledge who is dedicated to quality and enjoys working collaboratively to deliver robust software solutions across web and mobile platforms.
Responsibilities
- Execute unit tests in the BFF layer to verify component functionality and service logic.
- Test APIs for both functional behavior and error handling, including validation of requests and responses and parsing of JSON and XML data.
- Proficient in using command-line tools and conducting backend testing with SQL.
- Utilize version control systems and CI/CD platforms such as GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Azure for automated workflows.
- Develop thorough testing strategies for Backend for Frontend architectures and interconnected services.
- Develop and run test cases aligned with technical and functional requirements.
- Oversee the full defect management process, including logging bugs, setting priorities, and managing ticket workflows in tools like Jira.
- Deliver ongoing feedback to development teams to improve test coverage and system reliability.
