As a Mid-Level Software Engineer at ValkyrieTrading, you will play a central role in building and maintaining the core applications that power our trading activities. You'll work closely with traders, quants, and fellow engineers in a nimble, interdisciplinary team to translate business needs into scalable, reliable software solutions.
What You'll Do
- Conceptualize and author technologies that power trading activities in financial markets
- Take primary ownership of core applications
- Drive roadmaps for core applications
- Ensure long-term stability of core applications
- Contribute to the full project lifecycle from initial design discussions to live production support
- Work closely with traders, quants, and other engineers
- Help translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions
- Solve immediate technical challenges while maintaining the integrity of broader trading infrastructure
- Work on a growing queue of critical trading applications
