Responsibilities
- Monitor intrusion detection systems and firewall operations for security threats
- Oversee mobile threat defense platforms to identify and respond to risks
- Analyze issues affecting current and potential virtual servers and suggest corrective actions
- Evaluate and update security policies and procedures as necessary
- Support investigation and resolution of correlated security events
- Deliver essential security services in support of information security operations
Work Arrangement
On-site — Washington, DC, Manassas, Virginia
Other
- Work schedule follows Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays, during a standard eight-hour shift
- May need to work non-standard hours when required to deliver technical support
- Position may involve on-call duties to ensure 24/7 technical coverage
- Occasional travel may be required, estimated at less than 4% of the performance period
- Workplace outputs include written documentation, briefings, and analytical reports
