Mobile Wave Solutions is hiring a Mid-level Java Developer to join our team building a partner's online learning and career development platform for health and social care professionals. In this role, you’ll engage in full-stack development, take ownership of product quality, and contribute to architectural decisions.

What You'll Do

Contribute to the design, implementation, and code review process of the product.
Work with infrastructure built on AWS, Terraform/Terragrunt, Kubernetes, Gradle, Git, and related tools.
Design modular, scalable, and portable solutions.
Deliver clean, readable, and reusable code, ensuring timeliness and quality.
Take ownership of the product’s quality.
Provide informed input on the product and its functionalities.
Actively participate in roadmap planning, tech stack selection, and architectural decisions.
Effectively organise and prioritise work as required.
Adapt working methods to leverage AI tools when beneficial.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of experience working as a Java Software Engineer.
Experience with Spring or Spring Boot framework.
Practical experience working in a cloud environment preferably with AWS and Terraform/Terragrunt.
CI/CD practical experience.
Experience with distributed systems and developing RESTful APIs.
Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Willingness to work on the full range of the product - including front-end with JavaScript and mobile development.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
