What You'll Do
Collaborate with project leads to gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements for MES/MOM initiatives. Contribute to design specifications and help define project tasks, timelines, and deliverables. Operate independently under technical supervision while maintaining alignment with broader project goals.
Diagnose and resolve software-related issues, including version control conflicts, release inconsistencies, and integration challenges. Support best practices in development and deployment, ensuring solutions are efficient, secure, and scalable. Participate in all phases of testing—from unit and regression to integration and functional validation—helping build test documentation and executing validation protocols.
Train end users on MES functionalities and support the acceptance process through structured testing procedures. Step into a functional analyst role when needed, assessing client needs for new implementations and contributing to solution design. Represent technical capabilities during customer discussions and support seamless integration with ERP and automation systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of hands-on experience with Siemens MES Camstar or Opcenter solutions
- Proven experience integrating MES with automation platforms such as DeltaV, Siemens PCS7, SIMATIC Batch, or Rockwell PLCs/SCADA
- Strong programming background in C#, Java, C++, VBA/VBScript, or Python
- Familiarity with Mendix development environment
- Experience managing software releases across multiple environments (DEV, QA, PROD)
- Proficient with version control, merge operations, deployment pipelines, and testing workflows
- Working knowledge of Team Foundation Server or Jira
- Prior experience in Application Management Services (AMS) and 24x7 support settings
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in remote, team-based environments
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field
Preferred Qualifications
Deep understanding of manufacturing operations in either discrete or process industries, with a focus on MES-driven process optimization and data flow integrity.
