About the Role
This role involves providing high-quality, compassionate mental health counseling to clients using a virtual platform, with an emphasis on assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing therapeutic support within a multidisciplinary care model.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions using secure telehealth technology
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnose mental health conditions
- Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate with integrated care teams including primary care providers
- Document client progress and maintain accurate clinical records
- Monitor client outcomes and adjust interventions as needed
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment when necessary
- Engage clients in goal setting and treatment planning
- Coordinate care with psychiatrists and other specialists
- Follow ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality
- Use evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT and DBT
- Support clients across a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, and life transitions
- Participate in peer consultations and clinical reviews
- Respond promptly to client messages and scheduling needs
- Maintain licensure and comply with state practice regulations
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training
