Inspira Education Group is looking for a Medical School Admissions Consultant to mentor and guide medical school applicants, with a focus on International Medical Graduates (IMGs), through the U.S. medical school admissions process. You will provide strategic coaching on application strategy, personal statements, interviews, and school selection.
What You'll Do
- Work with prospective medical school candidates to build their profiles and draft compelling application documents.
- Manage relationships with applicants and families while providing strategic guidance on school selection, essays, resumes, recommendations, and interviews.
- Identify optimal medical programs and schools for individual students, aligning with their background and goals.
- Support students with project planning and help them create and stick to effective timelines through Excel-based trackers.
- Stay up-to-date on the medical school admissions process and programs to advise clients on appropriate school selection.
What We're Looking For
- Experience serving on a medical school admissions committee or admissions board with experience reviewing applications and making acceptance/rejection decisions.
- A completed MD or DO degree.
- 5-7 years of previous experience in education, coaching, tutoring, and/or admission consulting.
- Strong English reading, writing, and editing skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
