About the Role

The position involves conducting policy research and evaluation studies focused on Medicaid and healthcare delivery innovations. The researcher will work on projects assessing program effectiveness, health equity, and system improvements, using both qualitative and quantitative approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze state and federal Medicaid policies and their impact on healthcare access and quality
  • Design and execute evaluation studies for healthcare innovation initiatives
  • Collect, manage, and interpret large administrative and survey datasets
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on research projects
  • Produce reports, briefs, and presentations for diverse audiences
  • Support grant proposal development with research design and methodology
  • Conduct literature reviews and environmental scans
  • Apply statistical models to assess health outcomes and disparities
  • Engage with stakeholders including government agencies and healthcare providers
  • Translate research findings into actionable policy recommendations
