Responsibilities
- Interpret contract documents, technical drawings, specifications, and safety protocols, including all revisions and updates.
- Verify contractor adherence to contractual standards through observation, measurement, and testing, while tracking quality assurance milestones.
- Record daily contractor workforce and equipment deployment on site.
- Perform on-site supervision and inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.
- Document contractor personnel, equipment, observed activities, locations, purposes, and methods used within assigned areas.
- Report on material deliveries and execute site instructions issued by supervisory personnel.
- Enforce site-specific quality control measures and procedures.
- Carry out and follow up on directives provided by project leadership.
- Implement established quality assurance protocols consistently across operations.
- Conduct required field measurements and survey verifications as requested by supervisors.
- Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality standards, performance criteria, and applicable codes.
- Observe and report on health and safety practices at construction sites, noting any violations.
