Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components for water treatment and distribution systems
- Perform hydraulic and thermal modeling for system optimization
- Develop construction specifications and technical drawings
- Conduct site assessments and field inspections
- Support project management with scheduling and budgeting inputs
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards
- Collaborate with civil, structural, and electrical engineers
- Prepare operation and maintenance manuals
- Review contractor submittals and shop drawings
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues during construction and commissioning
- Use CAD and BIM software for design development
- Participate in design review meetings
- Assess equipment performance and recommend upgrades
- Evaluate pump and pipeline configurations
- Support environmental compliance efforts
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies on design approvals
- Conduct energy efficiency analyses
- Assist in risk assessments for mechanical systems
