CircuitHub is hiring a Mechanical Engineer, Factory Automation

Responsibilities

  • Create gantry systems and end effectors using Fusion 360
  • Evaluate end effector performance through video analysis and adjust geometry for improved reliability
  • Develop innovative mechanical solutions for handling electronic components
  • Set up, commission, and troubleshoot robotic systems
  • Build and implement a prototype test robot for validating PCBs during production
  • Travel to the UK to consult with R&D teams and influence strategic development priorities

On-site — South Deerfield, Western Massachusetts

Other

  • Must be available to work at least three days on-site at South Deerfield, Western Massachusetts (90 mins from Boston) facility in the first year
  • Early 2027: facilities will be established in Boston, LA, and the Bay Area; early hires may lead new sites
  • Travel to UK required for briefing R&D teams and shaping roadmap priorities
