Responsibilities
- Feeds, removes, flexes, jogs, and stacks printed sheets, folded signatures, labels, or other in-process materials to and from assigned equipment
- Manually loads and unloads materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
- Loads materials into trucks and secures them with strapping, bracing, or padding using hand tools to prevent movement or damage during transport
- Transports materials from storage or work areas to specified locations using hand trucks, electric dollies, or similar equipment
- Counts, weighs, and logs the number of material units handled or moved on daily production records
- Applies identifying tags or labels to materials, or marks relevant information on cases, bales, or containers
- Stacks or groups materials into bundles and secures them using a banding machine and clincher
