Responsibilities
- Lead the development of thought leadership content across APAC
- Write and edit: Articles and opinion pieces (e.g. Campaign, WARC, trade media)
- Write and edit: LinkedIn posts and executive narratives
- Write and edit: POVs on key industry topics (AI, commerce, social, content, technology)
- Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, and impactful content
- Shape and refine leadership voices across the region
- Support awards strategy, submissions and logistic across APAC (e.g. Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Campaign Asia Awards, Spikes Asia, Effies)
- Partner with internal teams to identify award-worthy work and stories
- Manage timelines, submissions, and coordination with markets and global teams
- Leverage award wins for PR, content, and amplification
- Working closely with event team to develop and maximize event impact
- Repurpose event content into: Social content
- Repurpose event content into: Articles and PR stories
- Repurpose event content into: Case studies and internal materials
- Identify and develop media opportunities
- Support pitching of stories to key industry and trade publications
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant media contacts
- Working closely with Marketing VP to establish a consistent content cadence across markets
- Build a repeatable framework to turn key moments into ongoing content
- Ensure alignment with global messaging while localizing for APAC relevance
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in PR, content, editorial, or communications
- Exceptional writing and editing skills in English (native or near-native level), Mandarin is a plus.
- Experience developing thought leadership or long-form content
- Strong understanding of marketing, advertising, and media landscape
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders and translate ideas into narratives
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Nice to Have
- Background in agency, advertising media, or editorial/journalism
- Experience working across multiple APAC markets
- Familiarity with industry platforms such as Campaign, WARC, or similar
- Experience supporting events, speaking engagements, or executive profiling
