Responsibilities
- Create and launch basic drip or nurture email sequences
- Manage subscriber databases and maintain data quality by removing duplicates and applying correct tags
- Support tracking setup including UTM parameters and campaign tagging
- Track key performance indicators for automation flows such as open rates, click-throughs, and conversions
- Resolve common technical issues like broken email links or failed automation triggers
- Collaborate with design and content teams on email templates and landing page assets
- Develop and oversee end-to-end customer lifecycle automations including onboarding, retention, upselling, and re-engagement
- Set up and refine behavior-based or lifecycle-triggered email sequences
- Connect CRM or customer data platforms with web tracking and event tools
- Evaluate automation performance and suggest enhancements like better segmentation or personalization
- Train junior team members or interns on marketing automation best practices
- Maintain documentation for automation processes, including SOPs and monitoring dashboards
- Shape the company's marketing technology strategy by identifying needed tools, integrations, and workflows
- Develop and supervise predictive automation models such as lead scoring or likelihood-to-convert analysis
- Ensure reliable data infrastructure with accurate data, seamless integrations, and real-time event handling
- Lead and mentor a team of automation and operations specialists
- Drive cross-functional initiatives like unified personalization across channels or automated loyalty programs
- Conduct regular reviews and improvements of automation workflows tied to ROI metrics such as revenue growth and cost efficiency
