Responsibilities
- Oversees staff in kitting, fulfillment, and pick-pack operations.
- Coordinates employee activities to ensure clear communication and smooth cross-departmental and inter-shift collaboration, including with external vendors.
- Drives high performance and team motivation through effective leadership and sound human resource management.
- Stays fully informed on all production methods, ISO standards, standard operating procedures, continuous improvement practices, equipment use, and safety and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborates with customer service, planning, manufacturing teams, off-site locations, and suppliers to meet production and delivery timelines.
- Plans, adjusts, and manages workflow schedules in response to changing business demands.
- Structures tasks for optimal efficiency and ensures departmental objectives related to safety, quality, continuous improvement, and key performance indicators are defined and achieved.
- Implements company policies, suggests improvements, and upholds positive workplace relations; handles hiring, promotions, recognition, discipline, and terminations with proper documentation.
- Monitors and manages departmental spending and labor expenses to align with budgetary guidelines; delivers reports and performance analysis to leadership.
- Identifies and resolves operational issues; collaborates with teams and escalates for additional support when required.
- Fosters a constructive workplace culture, supports effective training initiatives, and ensures compliance with ISO documentation and procedures.
- Coordinates with internal departments to verify work accuracy and support on-time customer shipments.
