Responsibilities
- Support order fulfillment by retrieving and preparing warehouse items for shipping.
- Help manage inventory levels and organize stored products or customer-provided materials.
- Contribute to employee training and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
- Select and package various printed items using multiple packing methods.
- Follow step-by-step instructions to complete standard packing tasks.
- Prepare completed products for shipment by placing them into boxes or containers.
- Use computers and warehouse management systems to track and process materials.
- Carry out additional tasks such as labeling packages, inserting manuals, and handling finished goods.
- Verify that correct shipping details are applied and shipments meet scheduled timelines.
- Position, organize, label, seal, and tag items in bundles, on pallets, or in storage units.
- Maintain required levels of productivity and quality in daily tasks.
- Recognize operational issues and escalate to supervisors for resolution.
- Take part in ongoing employee training and development activities.
- Count and categorize different product components.
- Handle printed sheets, folded sections, labels, or work-in-progress materials by feeding, removing, flexing, jogging, or stacking as needed.
- Manually load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
- Load goods into trucks and secure them with strapping, bracing, or padding using hand tools.
- Transport materials between storage or work areas using hand trucks, electric dollies, or similar equipment.
- Occasionally operate industrial trucks or electric hoists to move heavy loads.
- Support special assignments or complex customer-specific orders when required.
- Assist in upholding warehouse safety and security protocols.
- Complete any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
