Responsibilities
- Lead a team of firmware and systems engineers focused on Wi-Fi access point development
- Provide technical leadership, architectural direction, and design review oversight
- Mentor engineering staff, support professional development, and foster a culture of accountability
- Own execution plans, release schedules, and deliverables for product launches
- Ensure timely delivery across concurrent development initiatives
- Proactively identify risks and lead efforts to implement mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with Product Management to convert business requirements into technical plans
- Coordinate with QA, Systems, and Sustaining teams to ensure product quality and field readiness
- Engage with Operations and Manufacturing to support production readiness
- Enforce best practices in software design, code quality, code reviews, and test coverage
- Lead root-cause analysis for defects and field-reported issues
- Advocate for reliability, performance, and security throughout the product lifecycle
