Weave is hiring a Manager - Salesforce Development (Salesforce Billing & Revenue Cloud)

Responsibilities

  • Guide and develop a team of 1–5 Salesforce developers, administrators, and QA engineers located in India.
  • Handle recruitment and performance evaluations: interview candidates, establish performance objectives, provide feedback, and oversee career progression.
  • Promote an environment of ongoing education, responsibility, and high technical standards within the team.
  • Organize and lead Agile practices such as sprint planning, daily meetings, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Act as the main technical liaison between US and India teams to synchronize priorities, schedules, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Product & Business Systems Analysts, Finance & Revenue Operations, and Sales & GTM teams to convert business needs into scalable technical implementations.
  • Work with external clients and vendor partners on integration planning, solution architecture, and delivery coordination.
  • Create, build, and implement reliable, scalable Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and declarative tools.
  • Manage CPQ quoting and pricing rule design, including product catalogs, pricing configurations, approval workflows, and quote template logic.
  • Oversee Salesforce Billing and revenue recognition architecture, covering invoice creation, payment handling, revenue scheduling, and Sage Intacct integration.
  • Drive implementation and improvements for Revenue Cloud / RLM, ensuring compatibility with changing go-to-market strategies.
  • Design and supervise custom API and integration solutions, with practical experience in MuleSoft middleware, DocuSign/Conga for contract management, Sage Intacct ERP, and Snowflake/BigQuery data warehouse connections.
  • Lead data migration projects: scope definition, data mapping, ETL design, and validation after migrations during org consolidations or upgrades.
  • Manage end-to-end platform governance: environment strategy, release management, sandbox refresh cycles, and deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools like Salto and Jenkins.
  • Perform technical design reviews to ensure solutions comply with security, performance, and governor limit requirements.
  • Supervise the full software development lifecycle from requirement validation through QA, user acceptance testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
  • Maintain and enforce code quality standards, peer review procedures, and documentation practices across the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of practical Salesforce configuration and development experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading a team of Salesforce developers and/or administrators.
  • Demonstrated delivery experience with Revenue Cloud, Salesforce Billing, CPQ, and Sales Cloud.
  • Advanced skills in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce CPQ: product rules, pricing rules, quote templates, approval workflows, and advanced approvals.
  • Substantial hands-on experience with Salesforce Billing: invoice generation, payment processing, revenue recognition, and financial closing procedures.
  • Familiarity with Revenue Cloud / RLM configuration and data structure.
  • Integration experience with MuleSoft, DocuSign/Conga, Sage Intacct, and data warehouse platforms like Snowflake.
  • Experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Salto, Jenkins).
  • Strong grasp of Salesforce platform governance limits, security models, and deployment best practices.
  • Proven experience managing a QA or quality engineering team, including hiring, performance oversight, and skill enhancement.
  • Solid understanding of QA methods: functional, regression, integration, performance testing, and UAT coordination.
  • Experience with Salesforce-specific testing approaches, including Apex unit test coverage, sandbox data setup, and deployment verification.
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks for Salesforce, such as Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, Selenium, or similar.
  • Ability to define acceptance criteria in partnership with Product and Business stakeholders.
