Responsibilities
- Oversee the management, enhancement, and long-term development of the organization’s integrated People technology platforms, including HRIS, applicant tracking, onboarding, learning, engagement surveys, and recognition systems
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and business leaders to align system capabilities with strategic and operational objectives
- Lead initiatives to improve scalability, efficiency, user experience, and overall performance of People systems
- Assess new technologies and propose modern solutions that enhance automation, reporting, workflows, and system usability
- Support and refine integrations between People systems and broader enterprise applications
- Act as the primary system expert and owner for HR technologies, managing configuration, testing, issue resolution, updates, security settings, permissions, workflows, and technical documentation
- Lead implementation, stabilization, and optimization projects for ADP and other core People systems
- Enforce robust data governance, security protocols, regulatory compliance, and privacy practices across all People-related platforms
- Create, update, and maintain standard operating procedures, process guides, and training materials for system users
- Design and deliver intuitive dashboards, reports, and analytics tools that support strategic workforce planning and talent decisions
- Translate People data into meaningful, actionable insights for leadership, HR business partners, and executive stakeholders
- Build scalable reporting structures and self-service analytics capabilities where appropriate
- Work with stakeholders to uncover patterns, risks, and improvement opportunities across the employee lifecycle
- Identify and execute process improvements using workflow automation, system integrations, AI tools, and efficient process design
- Collaborate across departments to evaluate and deploy AI-powered solutions that enhance productivity, decision quality, and employee experience
- Help define the strategic direction for People technology, automation, and artificial intelligence adoption
- Promote responsible and user-centered adoption of emerging technologies while managing risk and governance
- Lead complex system projects and operational improvements across multiple business units and employee groups
- Partner with IT, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders on system upgrades, implementations, compliance efforts, and process enhancements
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and coordinate with external partners as required
- Supervise, coach, and grow team members as the People systems function expands
